Mat Pilates Sessions
Matwork Pilates Group Class, Handen Road, Lee, SE12.
Fridays: 12:30 - 1:30 pm, 50 minute class, £10 pre-booked, £12 cash walk-in.
Beginners and intermediate levels welcome - modifications/ progressions for different levels.
Class is not suitable for those who are pregnant or who have given birth in last 6 months. Ante and post natal classes coming soon!
Runs term time from 9th January 2026.
Please bring your own mat.

Reformer Pilates
I regularly teach reformer in several local studios in Blackheath and Greenwich, but am now delighted to offer 1-2-1 private sessions in my own home in Lee Green. 1-2-1s might suit you if you are looking for sessions that are:
tailored specifically to your own needs
recovering from injury and focussed on specific movements or muscle groups
prefer to practice away from a classic studio environment
new to reformer and would like to learn the basics before joining group classes
Intro session charged at £40 for an hour where we can discuss your background and goals and start moving.
Subsequent sessions are £55 per hour, or 4 x1 hour sessions for £200 to be used within a 2 month period.

Why Pilates with me?
In a nutshell, Pilates has played a key role in my health and fitness journey and I want to share the benefits of movement in a way that feels accessible, encouraging and grounded in my own experiences.
Pilates can help you build your strength (particularly core strength), improve your posture, relieve and manage back pain and create a greater sense of mind-body awareness.
For me, it’s a compliment to other forms of exercise and makes me feel stronger all-round. It’s also a great way to recover from injury and I’ve used it successfully in my own body combined with physio. I believe Pilates can benefit everyone, whatever your background or fitness level.
I first came to Pilates somewhat reluctantly some years ago following a back injury caused by running and high-impact workouts. An osteopath convinced me to give it a go. I wasn’t a natural, but before long I could see how it helped improve my back pain and strengthen my core. It has also played a key role in my recovery from a significant knee injury.
I’m a qualified Stott Pilates teacher in both mat and reformer Pilates. I chose Stott as it is an internationally recognised Pilates method based on anatomy, biomechanics and safe, effective movement. It focuses on alignment, strength, flexibility and mindful control, using clear principles to support the body and reduce the risk of injury.
Outside the studio, I also work as a research and insight consultant, helping companies better understand people’s needs. I love the mix of my two careers — both are rooted in listening, understanding what really matters, and using that insight to create positive change.
